Job Summary

 

Are you a hands-on and organized student with an interest in communications and event management? Would you like to gain practical experience in an international corporate environment?

 

As a Communications & Event Management Intern, you will join our Communications team and support the organization of events and communication initiatives. You will be involved throughout the different stages of event organization, from preparation and coordination to communication and follow-up.

 

This internship is a great opportunity to combine project coordination, event management and communications, while working with different stakeholders across the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

During your internship, you will support the Communications team with activities such as:

  • Supporting the planning and organization of events, meetings and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinating practical event arrangements, such as invitations, registrations, venues, catering, materials and other logistics.
  • Helping to develop event concepts and communication plans that encourage employee participation.
  • Creating and coordinating communications before, during and after events, such as invitations, announcements, presentations and follow-up communication.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth event organization.
  • Supporting events on the day itself, helping with practical coordination and ensuring participants have a positive experience.
  • Gathering feedback after events and helping identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting the team with other internal communication projects and initiatives where needed.

 

Profile Description

 

We are looking for a student who:

  • Is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • Has a strong interest in event organization and internal communications.
  • Is highly organized and enjoys coordinating several activities and stakeholders.
  • Is proactive, hands-on and comfortable taking ownership of practical tasks.
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Is creative and enjoys thinking about how to create an engaging experience.
  • Has an eye for detail and works in a structured way.
  • Is comfortable communicating in English in an international environment.
